Perfectparachutepicture return with their vivid new single ‘Silhouette’
Following in the footsteps of previous single ‘Don’t Bow’, Perfectparachutepicture’s new release is sure to win over your heart.
Seeing them in an alternative rock limelight, this track could easily fill a stadium and then some.
Returning with the vivid visuals for the single that was released two weeks ago, the music video follows the protagonist wanting a change in their life.
Discussing the single, the band shares: “’Silhouette’ is a deep look into yourself, not really knowing what you see. We can recognise our past self, but we don’t really know that person anymore and we don’t understand what it is that’s changed.
The heart of the song is about the realisation that we all change as people, but it questions if it’s us changing ourselves, or if it’s the effect of the world around us. The song is melancholic at times but the acceptance in the lyrics, ‘you can’t change who you are, it’s the change around you’ show that sometimes, we just have to accept our fate and roll with it.”
Gripping throughout, the song’s message is amplified with vocalist Kyle Ernest explaining to listeners that we don’t really change ourselves, but the things around us make us different.
