Lively outfit Perfectparachutepicture unveil heroic anthem ‘The Stream’
Refusing to follow the typical indie crowd, Perfectparachutepicture are bound to win your heart over with their energetic sound. Returning with their first single of the year, ‘The Stream’ is free-spirited and highly dynamic.
With a strong discography sat behind them and over 5,000 monthly Spotify listeners, Perfectparachutepicture are a vibrant duo consisting of Edward James on bass and Kyle Ernest on drums and lead vocals.
Could this outfit be the next Royal Blood? We think so.
Sharing their thoughts on their determined new single, the two-piece share, “as a society it’s engrained into us from a young age that we need to pick a path and stick to it, never deviating and changing our mind.
It’s sad to think that other people can steer us away from aspirations that go against the norm. This feeling is encapsulated by ‘The Stream’, which is a song about holding onto your hopes and dreams. “
“It’s a sad song in a way, because the lyrics hint at where things can go if people let themselves be guided by other people’s direction, but at heart, it’s an Alt-Rock song with an anthemic chorus that encourages us to do what we want with our own lives.
This is something that we feel really strongly about and it reflects in our music.”
Best described as legendary, ‘The Stream’ is in your face and set on a mission to make you rethink things through. Armed with instrumentation built for a stadium, someone get this duo at Reading festival already.
“The future is what we want it to be” is the perfect lyric to finish a single that declines being labelled. You’re in power to make your own future, and this track clears states that Perfectparachutepicture are making their future BRIGHT.
