PLENTY makes memorable entrance with pop infused debut single ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’

Every once in a while, we come across an artist that is extremely innovative. PLENTY is exactly that. Entering with infectious pop debut ‘I Don’t Wanna Know‘, this singer-songwriter is destined for her name in lights.

Pernille aka PLENTY is a young singer-songwriter draws influence from the likes of Britney Spears, Billie Eilish, and The Pussycat Dolls to name a few. Channeling a dark-pop atmosphere in her debut, the song was co-written with Cate Downey.

On her debut, PLENTY had this to say, “I Dont Wanna Know was one of many songs I was considering for my debut single, but after receiving the demo I knew this was the one. I fell in love with this song the second I heard the producers copying the ideas in my mind and pasting them on the project. You know the feeling when you have something you wanna say, but you don’t know how to- but suddenly you figure it out? That’s exactly what it felt like when I had the demo.

Whenever I was feeling uninspired, happy or bored I listen to it, and that’s when I knew this was it. This was my debut single. What I love about it is that it’s representing me as an artist to the fullest. The dark pop sound, the dramatic drum pattern and the spicy harmonies is everything to me. I also love the concept of pretending you don’t wanna know what someone you used to care for is doing, when it’s really everything you want.”

Ground-breaking and something you’d hear from established artists, ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’ features glistening harmonies, energy and everything you’d want from a debut.

Try getting this track out of your head! ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’ is out now and is simply described as… ICONIC.
