UK producer See How debuts with genre-blending single ‘Can’t Be Me’
A fascinating debut single with layers of character, See How launches his new solo project definitely in the right way.
Oozing with attitude and moments of hyper pop, UK garage, and hip-hop, the song twists samples and charismatic lead vocals to create an innovative sound.
Speaking about the new release, Chris Howell aka the mind behind the music shares: “This is the first solo track I’ve released in years, after a long period of self reflection. The lyrics are bold, confident and unapologetic, and I guess that’s my intention with this new project.
I’m super excited about the tracks that will follow this one, and to collaborate with other artists, bringing them into the See How universe. Bring it on.”
As half of electronic production duo Pariis Opera House, See How is no stranger to the industry, having been championed by BBC Introducing, and receiving radio play and praise from industry legends like Lauren Laverne, Tom Robinson and Nemone.
With this new solo project, he combines influences from Jamie xx, Mura Masa and Fred again with his ear for radio-friendly hooks and genre-bending beats.
