Back with the vibrant music video for their latest single ‘Let Me In’, the visuals combine animation with a dull backdrop to let viewers put their own twist on the story.
Guitarist Kavvy mentions, “This song is really special to us and it’s one that we feel has a really strong message of being there for someone, quite important at this time. For the video we wanted people to make their own interpretations and associations with the song and the video.
We were delighted to work with the amazing Irish director, Jonathan Irwin on it. He’s done some amazing videos for the likes of Maps and Funeral Suits that we loved. He had an idea to create something that worked with the atmospherics of the songs but had some slightly surreal elements at play. So there’s a real nice contrast there.”
Drummer Finny added, “It kinda has that dream-like quality of being in the car, gazing out of the window, the rain creating patterns and your mind piecing them together.
A reminder of coming back late at night (or early in the morning!) from gigs or from the studio. There’s something quite nostalgic about that! Like it goes back to a certain time of innocence.”
