Bristol dream-pop quintet Stay Lunar return with angelic single ‘Not Your Fight’
Known for their glistening dream-pop sound, Stay Lunar are back with heavenly new number ‘Not Your Fight’.
Infused with synthesisers, and a vibrant rhythm section, the highly anticipated follow up to ‘Dreaming That I’m Not in Love’ lives up to expectations.
Stay Lunar told us, “Not Your Fight’ is actually quite a dark song about trying to help someone with an addiction – but luckily, in typical Stay Lunar fashion, we’ve turned a difficult topic into something that we feel is a really up-beat and fun to listen to.
We really love the idea of people both being able to dance to our songs and listen with headphones on their beds at night while they’re feeling all reflective about life.
I guess that sums up the contrast between writing and performing for us, the writing is very personal and emotional, whilst the performing is a real release and a huge amount of fun, so we hope that comes across in our music.”
Working side by side with producers Ady Hall and Lee McCarthy of Sugar House (Pale Waves, Larkins, Viola Beach and Mint), ‘Not Your Fight’ feels optimistic and hopeful.
