Sunnbrella releases nostalgic video for latest release ‘It’s Cool’
Released October 28th via Permanent Creeps Records, Sunnbrella’s latest single ‘It’s Cool‘ ventures into a vibrant indie-pop limelight, and takes centre stage in it’s own right. Returning with the brand-new music video, the visuals for ‘It’s Cool’ are lo-fi and feel nostalgic.
On the visuals, Sunnbrella told us it’s, “A lockdown-era, mini road movie of sorts, starring Dormi – a 1988 VW campervan – ‘It’s Cool’ is a story of escapism, loneliness and the comfort of friendship in the form of a handful of cardboard cutouts.”
Tinged in a 90s aura, the visuals are bathed in a shoegaze-tinge and reminisce the good old days of yesteryear.
Sticking with it’s poignant message of escaping from loneliness, the coming-of-age video was directed by David Zbirka and Filippo Locatelli.
Armed with contemporary colours and a vibrant palette of fun shots, ‘It’s Cool’ is the best way to describe this new release.
