Merseyside based indie-punk outfit The K’s are set to release their fierce new single and video ‘TV’ later this week, but you can hear and watch it exclusively here!
Taking their music to the next level, The K’s energetic new single ‘TV’ is the ultimate indie anthem. Showcasing their punk side in the arrangement, the new visuals were recorded as part of Scotts Menswear’s ‘Take To The Stage’ campaign.
‘TV’ is not only something that will instantly make you dance, it’ll make you stop and rethink. Influenced by, you guessed it, TV culture, it’s an awakening to what’s around us in any sized ‘screen’.
The K’s exclaim how we are all growing up in a time when information is overloaded to us via social media and TV.
On the release, frontman Jamie Boyle stated “It’s a sort of sarcastic account about your way of thinking as a teenager growing up in England. You’re made to believe what you see on reality television is real life and that’s what you should want your life to be like.
As you get older though you start to realise it’s all bollocks”
Explosive and refusing to be hushed, ‘TV’ needs your full attention constantly.
Highly energetic, youthful and making Earlestown proud, this is the breakthrough that will certainly get The K’s name in lights.
