The Sonar return refreshing garage-rock EP ‘Can’t Behave’
The Sonar return with the title track ‘Can’t Behave‘ from their upcoming EP. Formed in early 2017, there might not much time on the band’s clock so far, but The Sonar clearly state they’re ones to watch.
‘Can’t Behave’ resides somewhere between hard rock, garage and alternative, and we can confirm, it’s an incredible release. Instantly making your head nodding and feet tapping, each song is bathed with elevating guitar riffs, garage-like production, and unforgettable vocals.
About the EP and The Sonar in general, the outfit told us, “We draw inspiration from different types of music, and different eras. The creative process often starts out with a riff or a groove, which over time is developed and stitched together with other parts which may be products of some other source of inspiration.
In all, it creates songs which individually may differ, but when put together they produce the sound and feeling of The Sonar. A sound that you can’t seem to let go, and a feeling that you can’t behave.”
Bound to make you move in someway or another, the production feels vintage and nostalgic. Recorded and mixed at Nacksving Studios, the overall performance is energetic and fuelled with vibrance.
An instant classic, The Sonar’s new release simply can’t be tamed, or in another words, can’t behave…
