NY based Zoë Moss returns with fresh visuals for her latest release The Operator
Songwriter Zoë Moss is proving she’s one to watch. With her latest release The Operator gaining coverage from across the globe, she returns with the visuals to the pop meets grunge aesthetic. Illuminating itself as a powerful anthem for female representation in a male dominated industry, The Operator fuses electronica with soft grunge to hypnotise audiences.
Set to release a seven track EP later this year, the release is produced by Gabriel Stanley of Prom, and it’s set to break down walls with Zoë’s distinctive sound.
On the release, Zoë mentioned, “The Operator visuals are simple yet chaotic. Like taking a nap during the day and waking up with a gasp because you had a bad dream. I wanted to start with almost a blank canvas so that I have a place to build from visually. Lauren Grier is behind this video. I found her through her visual work with other artists I admire. She really understands your aesthetic implicitly.”
Stealing your attention with its fast-paced movements, the lyric video is set in a monochrome state. With a gentle brush of a gothic presence in the song’s core as well as the video, The Operator captivates visually and through audio too.
A sensational debut from a songwriter that’s destined to be the new face of grunge pop.
