Leceistershire-based singer-songwriter Amber Beresford is better known as rainbow frog biscuits, and having gained an online platform on TikTok, the artist has poured her heart into crafting heartfelt and memorable folk-pop sounds. The emerging artist has now released three widely acclaimed releases under the monicker, with her affable charm and breezy melodies winning over the hearts and minds of listeners.
The third and most recent of these releases is the new single ‘Help Me’, a relatable and laid-back track about not knowing where you stand with someone or being able to judge the signals or hints that they’re sending. The sound and the subject matter make for a fun listening experience that highlight the unique charms of rainbow frog biscuits’ sound and continues to establish her as an artist to keep a close eye on.
Amber says of the track “‘Help Me’ is about not knowing if a connection is friendly or romantic because sometimes the connection you have with someone treads the line between ‘we’re friends and I’m just being polite’ and ‘we’re something else and I’m flirting with you’ – that’s why I joke that it’s about my lack of social awareness because I can never tell.”
