Having already collaborated on ‘Destroyer’, ROE and Ciaran Lavery are back with the affecting new release ‘Too much for anyone’. A rousing and often anxiety-laden track that is built around themes of social pressure and duality, masquerading behind the veneer of a catchy, upbeat, mid-tempo indie-pop song.

As always, ROE’s voice provides a wonderful centerpiece for the occasion and powerfully conveys every emotion that is being sang about, with her emotive and engaging range. Musically the track has some really nice moments too, with a chorus sure to wrap its way around your head for the forseeable future.

“‘Too much for anyone’ was written about the overwhelming pressure of trying to be a good person and acceptance of how we can’t change what happens around us no matter how desperately we want to.” Roe says of the track.
