The artist continues to showcase her fun, nostalgic charm on her sophomore release.

Rising UK indie pop artist Rosanna has already establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with on debut single ‘What it takes to leave’, rapidly accumulating thousands of streams and establishing herself as an emerging star in the process.

The artist has now followed that up with her sophomore release ‘Need You to Stay’, a catchy and fun release that expertly bridges the gap between neon-tinged 80s pop and a more contemporary and modern approach. The narrative showcases a real vulnerability from the artist, looking for assurance and affirmation from her partner as they delve into the deep end together and try to make things work. From the synthy glow of the sound, to the artist’s commanding vocals, to its powerhouse chorus, the new single highlights everything that makes Rosanna feel so vibrant and exciting, showcasing a charismatic charm and appeal that feels infectious.

Rosanna says: “The song first came to me when I was feeling vulnerable, getting back together with an ex – and really wanting it to work out. My producer Alexander Comana and I both wanted a fun, free and sexy sound, but also to have this darkness to the song that represented vulnerability and danger…kind of like a warning: don’t mess it up this time! But ultimately, for me it’s a happy song, it’s about knowing when a love is special, and should be fought for.”
