London-based dark-pop titan Salt Ashes is on an absolute tear as of late, with her latest album Killing My Mind bursting with empowering and defiant tracks around relationships and life as a woman in the contemporary world. One of these tracks is her new single ‘Body Says’, a track that feels like a natural successor to the CLOUT championed ‘Lucy’.
The track is an upbeat piece of memorable dark-pop from the artist, as we have grown to expect, but it’s cutting lyrics about body autonomy and having the right to own your own choices is what really sets it apart.
