Scotland’s newest alt-pop talent thisisNAMASTE releases ‘Girl I Got You’

The track is a complete earworm with seamless songwriting and strong, solid vocals atop a sparkling production.

A positive anthem!

If you’re not familiar with thisisNAMASTE, she’s quickly climbing up the pop ladder in Scotland, on a path set for world domination.

‘Girl I Got You’ is a positivity-fuelled anthem, proving that she does in fact ‘got you’. The track is a complete earworm with seamless songwriting and strong, solid vocals atop a sparkling production.

Speaking about the track, she explains, “This song is about my constant inner battle with anxiety. Sometimes I feel like I am on top of the world and can do anything, but then my anxiety decides to pipe in and is like “haha you suck!” and makes me second guess everything. Anxiety and mental health is something that effects so many of us in different ways. This song is a reminder to myself and hopefully to others, that we are bigger than our anxieties and insecurities, we can do whatever we set our minds to and we truly are enough.”

Natasha (aka thisisNAMASTE) is no stranger to the big stage and bright lights, having been a backing vocalist for the likes of Rita Ora, Ella Eyre and more. Now she’s ready to take centre stage and prove just how talented she is.
