Skott leads debut album with ‘My Name’

It's an exciting track to represent what's an incredibly creative album that's sure to be a real contender for album of the year. 

The album is finally here!

Sweden’s Skott has finally released her highly anticipated debut album, and with it comes the release of lead track ‘My Name’.

The album, Always Live For Always is a 12-track alt-pop package of wonders with six of the tracks comprising of former singles, including this one ‘My Name’.

Speaking on the track, Skott explains that, “This song celebrates the power of your own name turning it almost into an enchantment. The lyrics revolve around a broken relationship from the past, and now this name’s out there haunting the person who can’t escape the memories or hurt they might have caused. It is a twisted break-up anthem – empowering but with a darker side to it.”

It’s an exciting track to represent what’s an incredibly creative album that’s sure to be a real contender for album of the year.
