Bubbling with frenetic, restless energy and their unmistakable, acerbit wit, SLANT have graced us with their ambitious third single ‘Eat The Moon’.
For all of the bombast and charm of the track though, there is something more sinister and existential within the narrative of the sound. As the track’s seemingly carefree narrative turns into one of desperate escapism and delusion, doing anything to escape the lonely and mundane realities of real life. In typical SLANT fashion however, the escapism offered by the track mirrors that of its narrative, and provides a welcome and effortlessly fun few minutes of listening.
