Trunky Juno have dropped a bop and it’s ‘So Cool’

Lo-fi and effortlessly cool, 'So Cool' is an alt-pop bop with a massive punch in the chorus

A pure lo-fi alt-pop bop here.

2019 was quite a year for Trunky Juno, and now they’ve arrived in 2020 ready to take the world by storm with new single ‘So Cool’.

Lo-fi and effortlessly cool, ‘So Cool’ is an alt-pop bop with a massive punch in the chorus that will get your head bopping and your toes-a-tapping.

There’s nothing fundamental about the track at all, as they embrace all things nostalgic and throw in modern elements of pop to retain that sharp edge.

Lyrically, the track is about blasting old Weezer tracks Wayne’s World style in the garage. Pretty cool, right?

Speaking about the track, Trunky says “So Cool is definitely the most silly and fun single so far. It came together really quickly as a very tongue in cheek, ironic take on pop music. It’s kind of like it’s a song from the late 90’s/early 2000s that everyone’s forgotten about, and can’t believe we ever liked in the first place? Kind of like Tom Green, or those Budwieser ads with the frog. Cringe inducing nostalgia, reminding you of when you thought you were so cool.”
