Virgin Miri drops glossy new breakup track ‘Bubblegum

All about drinking "til you got no braincells left", the track explores dealing with the pain of a breakup through destructive behaviour.

It will be the first headline tour for the 21-year-old singer-songwriter.

Sweden’s new pop princess, Virgin Miri, has bounded her way into our lives on the back of glossy new single ‘Bubblegum’.

Her vocals lead the way on this one, on a colourful production of synths and bass. All about drinking “til you got no braincells left”, the track explores dealing with the pain of a breakup through destructive behaviour.

This track is said to be the final taste of her debut EP due out this month, following the success of three previous singles.

Speaking about the track, she explains that “This song is about when you’ve got your heart broken and you pretend everything is totally fine but really you’re dying inside.”
