Music Industry Blackout Announced As Artists and Industry Demand Justice For George Floyd

Outlets, platforms, services and artists will observe June 2nd as a day to focus on awareness and solidarity

Outlets, platforms, services and artists will observe June 2nd as a day to focus on awareness and solidarity

The music industry has reacted to the unlawful killing of George Floyd by police officer Derek Chauvin by sharing resources, information, actions and evidence of further police brutality at protests.

Artists like Rhianna, Beyoncé, Run The Jewels, Ice Cube, Harry Styles amongst many others have voiced their support for the Black Lives Matter movement and justice for George Floyd.

Music industry workers and platforms (including Clout) will also be showing solidarity with the movement by sharing resources and support.

Donate to Black Lives Matter, The George Floyd Memorial Fund and protester bail funds, get involved with groups, learn about alternatives, demand justice for George Floyd, support the National Police Accountability Project and learn about Black Lives Matter.
