Tom Lumley & The Brave Liason are back with the iconic visuals for new single ‘Crawling’
Cambridge based quartet Tom Lumley and the Brave Liaison returned at the beginning of April with the instant classic, ‘Crawling‘. Now back with the vibrant new visuals to go with it, there’s certainly no stopping this powerful outfit.
Already being tipped as “Ones to Watch” by Huw Stephens on his BBC Radio 1 Show, these indie-rockers have a bright future ahead of them, and that’s fully showcased in the new anthem.
Speaking about the visuals, the band state, “the video for Crawling is an extension of the song’s lyrical content, with the narrative revolving around a relationship between Tom and his co-star, Ally. We chose to illustrate Ally’s character as strong, decisive and independent by putting her skills as a pole dancer at the forefront of the video.
There’s a lot of personal interpretation to take away from the video, as there is with the song, and I think people can take away a story that resonates with them. Ultimately, we wanted to create something that encompasses the, sometimes rocky, back and forth between a couple in a striking and memorable manner”.
Fast-paced, in your face and slightly all over the place (in a good way), the complex visuals have a seductive storyline.
Sleazy and armed with a powerful production, “Crawling” isn’t for the faint-hearted, and we’re completely here for it.
