Ethereal artist Zane Coppard returns with spacious, cinematic visual for track ‘More Human’
Like something straight out of a science fiction film, avant-garde Zane Coppard’s new visual is truly mesmerising.
For fans of Black Mirror, Tales of the Unexpected and any type of show in that vein, this unpredictable visual fits the track’s concept perfectly.
Taken from his most recent album ‘A Solar Flair’, musically, the track will certainly be a household name in the avant-garde world.
Zane tells us, “This video came together in a very spur of the moment way. Like most of my creative collaborations, it started with a friendship. The song More Human explores deep existential feelings.
Being “More Human” refers to the ability to ignore one’s truth for short term comfort. There are times when I wish the path I chose were more relaxed and seamless, but with the pursuit of truth being the core of what I do, that isn’t always the case.
As for aesthetic, Justin who directed the video dreamed up the storyboard and after watching the entire original Twilight Zone during lockdown, it felt so right.”
Sounding somewhere between the loose vocals of Thom Yorke, the electronica of James Blake and the originality of Yves Tumor, Zane Coppard is a natural musician.
