The track is the second release from the artist’s upcoming album Vitamin Be.

Following up from her CLOUT-lauded latest release ‘Tricks’, Natalie Holmes and her sound have taken a turn for the fantastical, yearning for a sense of adventure and escape on the bittersweet new single ‘Floating TV’.

The track is full of contradictions and juxtapositions between the artist’s reality and her dreams of something more exciting and fun. Set alongside a soundscape that feels both sparse and full of cute sonic quirks, there is a liberating sense of freedom within the artist’s sound on the new single, a feeling of wonder and expansiveness that feels limitless at times. Life can be a drag at times, with the monotonousness and day to day feeling endless, and the track is a perfect little escape that feels both freeing, and relatable, in its own uniquely bittersweet fashion.

Natalie says of the track “I have this ever-present sadness at the way the world is becoming more limiting, constantly feeding us stimulation and keeping us needing or wanting an endless cycle of stuff and achievements. This song is about rebelling I suppose – in a sweet, naive kinda way.”
