The track expands upon the unique sound established on her debut single ‘Beep Beep’

Establishing a nuanced and engrossing take on alternative pop that is packed full of atmospheric charm and uniqueness, rising artist AUNCE made a real impact in November last year with her debut single ‘Beep Beep’, and looks to continue to build momentum and stream with its thoughtful follow-up ‘Evergreen’.

The track has a much more intricate and laid-back feel to it than its predecessor, crafting an intimate soundscape as she delves into her psyche and mental process as she thinks about taking risks and leaps of faith. The line between trusting the process and fearing it will all fall apart is often a thin, blurred one, and this track does a really great job of capturing that uncertainty and optimism and the delicate dance between the two that so many have found ourselves caught in. Written in collaboration with London based Jordan Rakei, Melbourne based Boy Soda and Auckland based Harry Charles, the track brings together their creativity and guile and translates it to something truly memorable.
