The track is the sixth release from the prolific emerging artist.
Since we had a chat with Aaron Spencer back in 2020, the prolific artist has continued to establish his signature brand of conversational, distinctly northern indie rock.
On his latest release ‘Do It All Again’, the artist’s astute commentary on the realities of modern British life continue to take center stage, with the narrative surrounding a chance encounter with an ex at a party and the thoughts and feelings from the past that are brought up. The track is an ode to youth, and to the feeling that you get when someone takes you back to that place and those feelings you had when you were younger, longing to feel that carefree and unshackled again. ‘Do It All Again’ is another thoughtful release from an artist who has developed a unique voice and perspective within his work, and continues to craft distinctive and engaging narratives with it.
Spencer explains “When you’re in your twenties you realise your adolescent flashed by. You lose contact with people then years later they reappear. Often with pressures and responsibilities of being an adult. It’s a song capturing the sense of longing to be young and carefree again.”
