Canadian newcomer Abby Sage is blessed with a voice that is capable of transfixing you with its rich, effortless power. The artist has been steadily releasing tracks over the last year or so now, and we have finally been graced with the release of her debut EP Fears of Yours & Mine.
The final track on the EP is the mesmerising ‘Space For Me’, a minimalist slow burner that showcases the masterful grasp that the artist has over her sound and her listeners. The track saunters through its duration, calculating and brimming with a icy, cool edge. For an artist that has been outspoken about her issues with confidence and fear, she really seems to be in completely control of her sound as of late, and only getting better.
“With some of the past songs that I put out, I always made them and then asked other people’s opinion.” Abby says of the new EP. “But with this project, it’s completely different. It feels like it ’s mine and that takes away the fear.”’
