Two of the UK’s most promising and engrossing artists of our time, Eden Rain and SOFY, have come together to write the former’s latest single ‘Crashmat’, a track that is packed full of resonating, relatable appeal and the signature charm that Eden’s vocal style and delivery consistently adds to her sounds.

The track explores the feeling of wanting to be everything for everyone, putting out fires and always being there and neglecting yourself in the process. There is a really rousing and engrossing charm to the sound and the way that it flows that feels so seamless while delving into these feelings of burnout and not taking the right care of yourself, with the moving nature of the instrumentation and writing making it easy to latch yourself to the narrative and get immersed in its universal appeal.

On the track, Eden states “I made this song with Ed and Sofy and it was a bit of a blur cause it all tumbled out so quickly! I think it really hits on that feeling of being stretched too thin, right? It’s like you’re always on call, trying to be everything for everyone, and somewhere along the way, you forget to take care of yourself. Its about how you can love someone and want to help but also not really knowing how to.”
