Jesse Clasen and Jacob Michael, known collectively as Foreign Air, have built a huge following over the past five years with their unique take on melodic alternative rock.

Latest release ‘Anything’s Possible’ is a masterful showcase of the duo’s talents, accentuated by its effortlessly memorable sounds and impeccable sense of idiosyncratic , surreal fun. The track sits uncomfortably between quietly rousing and inspiring and thoroughly mind-bending and peculiar, occupying a distinctive sonic space that the outfit have truly made their own. Foreign Air are carving out a serious reputation for themselves and it is easy to see why.

Jesse and Jacob explain, “Anything’s Possible was loosely inspired by Jake Gyllenhaal’s character Donnie Darko. The main character in the song has a hard time fitting in with the world around him. He goes through life in a sleepwalking daze exploring what it means to be alive, to be in love, and questioning the things he is taught. The song was written in Los Angeles with Bram Inscore (Troye Sivan, Rina Sawayama) at the start of the pandemic just as the world was beginning to shut down which inspired the song’s melancholy underlying tone.”
