Fossway embrace the big intro on new effort ‘Grey Cloud’

The alt-rock trio are setting their sights on dominating 2020, starting with new track 'Grey Cloud'

Sit down, strap in and get ready for an epic intro.

2019 was a big year for Fossway, they released their debut EP and played festivals such as Lindisfarne, Hook & Gun and Long Division. Now, the alt-rock trio are setting their sights on dominating 2020, starting with new track ‘Grey Cloud’

Bringing the holy trinity of alt-rock together, blending it with indie-rock and prog-rock, you won’t be forgiven for finding elements of the likes of Queen, Rush and Muse mashed with the likes of The Blinders and Calva Louise.

On ‘Grey Cloud’ they embrace the big intro, with the vocals not coming into effect until around the 50 second mark.
Speaking on the track, they explain that “with Grey Cloud we wanted to prove that we could take our already-established sound and push it even further by incorporating even more prominent Progressive and Heavy Rock elements into the mix, and thus move away from the tired Indie-Rock that has dominated the last decade” explains frontman Daniel Mason, before noting “more simply, we wanted this song to be our boldest, loudest and most sophisticated yet”.
