Someone who has always released music as parts of bands and projects that he was involved in, Irish artist Jack O’Flaherty has released his first solo single ‘Pushback’.

The track is a defiant and memorable showcase of the emphatic sound that he brings to the table. ‘Pushback’ is a brash, high-octane indie rock sprint that outlines the vision that Jack has for his sound. The track was conceived and created during the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, and provides a pulsating and catchy distraction from the world outside. We look forward to hearing what the artist has in store for this new venture.

“I’m excited to get the ball rolling on my solo material and delighted to kick things off with ‘Pushback’.” Jack has said of the track. “This song came to me during the lockdown here in Ireland and is a reflection important relationships and the reevaluating of priorities that I think a lot of people are undertaking at the moment. It’s a different style in many ways than I think people are used to hearing me do but I’m really comfortable with being a bit introspective and a bit loud! During ‘Exiles’ (my previous band) and even before that I’d been writing songs and thinking, I really need a solo project to do this one justice. Here we are!”
