The track is a tale of clawing your way up through the ranks and defying the odds in order to achieve what you set out for. Fittingly, there is an array of ambition within the songwriting that meets the lofting aspirations of the tracks subject matter. ‘Got What You Want’ is a thoughtful and memorable taste of Little Grim that continues to establish their unique sound but with perhaps a little more underlying darkness than we’ve seen before.
