Singer-songwriter NISHA debuts the hard-hitting ‘Figures’. Anthemic and raw in equal measure, the new release sees the fiery artist celebrate and challenge her Southeast Asian heritage and, at times, rigid culture.
Also, starring a Southeast Asian cast, the new video for ‘Figures’ “presents a subversive microcosm of the world in a fairytale satire of our favourite vices”. Created by Pug Life Records, the video is a beautifully stylised accompaniment to her unapologetically punchy track and confrontational vocal. Make no mistakes, NISHA takes no prisoners.
