Outer Stella Overdrive are paving their own path, with infusions of punk, indie and indie-pop.
Following the success of ‘Know Your Enemy’ and their debut ‘State Your Name’, Outer Stella Overdrive have taken another step up with the release of punk-y bop ‘I Say’.
Blending indie-pop effortlessly with punk-esque vocals, Outer Stella Overdrive are paving the way for a new genreless sound that will seem them as vital must listens this year.
Speaking on the track, Kelvin Bueno explains that “The track is about speaking up. It’s about checking in on your neighbour and letting them know they aren’t alone. It’s about knocking the stigma that it makes u weak to speak up. It’s a homage to our friends who we lost this year to suicide which is a growing issue and we are just saying we need to spread love & we need saving from all this darkness”
We hear that the band are currently putting their final touched on their upcoming debut EP, so keep your eyes peeled on these…
