Singer-songwriter Ed Patrick returns with poignant single ‘Nothing Personal’
Embracing his trademark bittersweet lyricism exploring heartbreak and loss, allied to an autumnal, rustic musicianship, ‘Nothing Personal’ is another wistful offering from Ed Patrick.
Gently strummed guitar is accented beautifully by sumptuous, delicate tracked vocals, delivered with Ed’s characteristic sense of yearning.
Following on from the success of last year’s double single release ‘You In My Life/Shoulder’, Ed combines classic musicianship with contemporary soundscapes on the new release.
Straight from the heart, and yours to enjoy fully from tomorrow, ‘Nothing Personal’ is best described as human.
Effortless and pulling at the heartstrings, Ed had this to say on the release, “I wrote this song in Stockholm late 2020. The song is about cutting communication after a long relationship has ended in order to move on.
It’s short and to the point in a lofi folk pop style.”
Having been featured on Apple Music ‘Breaking Songwriter’ playlist as well as his work appearing on HBO’s New Amsterdam and Marie Claire, Ed’s destined for greatness.
