Duo legends Feed the Biirds return with the smooth flavouring of Amato, a track that crams in a whole lot of love within it’s 3 and a half minute length. Indie-pop with layers of originality, if this doesn’t make it’s way to the top, there’s something wrong with the world.
With a comfortable back catalogue in their short journey so far, the new single dominates and proves that the band are destined for greatness.
On the meaning of the single, the two piece told us; “Trust and new love! Camila is part Italian and ‘amato’ is Italian for ‘beloved’ and we just loved how the sound of that word fit into the song.”
Finally unleashing their track into the wild, Feed the Biirds mentioned; “We’ve been playing it live in our shows for a while, but now we’re excited to finally have the finished version out there.”
Beginning with a Rugrats like xylophone melody, the song soon becomes it’s own masterpiece. Using a pulsating rhythm as the track’s infectious beat, the percussive atmosphere of Amato will leave you dancing round your bedroom, or even better… in the middle of the street!
