NEEVE are a quartet best known for creating energetic and distinctive pop songs with an uplifting nature.
Returning with their next single ‘OVER YOU’ – the track takes listeners through different emotions of trying to escape from a toxic relationship.
A, sadly, relatable number that we have all encountered before at some stage, the nostalgic track is fuelled by an ear-worm chorus.
Talking about the release, NEEVE told us, “the track is about standing for yourself. In this case it’s about changing yourself for your partner in a relationship for too long.
The verses sound like thinking about all the negative stuff that happened in a toxic relationship and when the chorus hits, it´s like standing up and shouting everything you couldn’t say and holding back for way too long.
In the music video we wanted to incorporate all those aspects: the overthinking, the realization, the regrets and grudges and finally the understanding of letting go and leaving.”
“OVER YOU” is a distinctive pop song that will have you weak at the knees. Leaving you wanting more from it’s addictive attire, NEEVE could easily become the next pop phenomenon.
