Pattern Pusher unveil retro-pop infused number ‘Find The Light’ in association with the easing of UK COVID restrictions
Set for release on the UK’s ‘Freedom Day’ tomorrow, Pattern Pusher’s ‘Find The Light’ feels like the guiding light that will help listeners get through, hopefully, the last barrier of restrictions.
The retro-pop trio have gained support from the likes of BBC Introducing, Atwood Magazine and Tom Robinson from BBC 6 Music, Pattern Pusher are a heavy dose of well-needed positivity.
Speaking about the glistening new single, Pattern Pusher share, “It feels like such a relief to be able to go back out and play live. As a band we love to be happy, spreading positive vibes and the thought of playing to a live audience again feels like we’ll be getting a part of ourselves back that we’ve been missing for so long.
We’ve crammed as many shows as we can into the end of the summer and we cannot wait!”
On a mission to uplift and inspire listeners with their feel-good attire, ‘Find The Light’ is bathed with glistening vocals, grooving drum rhythms and an energetic bass line.
Working with producer John Waddel in Oxford, the track was also mixed by Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro).
Adding to the message of the track, frontman Alex explains, “This was written at a time when I was feeling down and I couldn’t find the inspiration to write a song, then the words ‘Find the Light’ came to me and the song materialised.”
Due for release tomorrow, this is certainly the go-to song to celebrate the UK’s restrictions being eased.
