Scrawny unveils new alt-pop single ‘Space’ alongside debut EP ‘I could learn a thing or two’
Infusing indie, pop and a sunny disposition into his unique sound, singer-songwriter Scrawny (Jesse Dill) now presents his latest offering ‘Space’.
An uplifting pop tune, the new track arrives with his debut EP ‘I could learn a thing or two’.
Scrawny on what inspired the track ‘Space’, “The song is about dreaming while I’m awake and the unknown future that feels like it’s moments away. Space balances between distraction and focus: by having my head in the clouds, I’m having the most clarity I’ve had in years.”
His new EP ‘I could learn a thing or two’ defines a lot of the lessons Jesse Dill has learned growing up, while also admitting that he is still learning and growing.
The alt-pop expedition focuses on the importance of mental health and reassurance that there are no perfect steps to becoming who you are – these are life lessons that hold great importance to Scrawny and he hopes his message will resonate.
“I hope these songs resonate and help someone else that may be going through these same emotions. “I could learn a thing or two” will be a statement I make for the rest of my life. I am always learning and listening.”
