Indie rock quartet Wharf release brand new single ‘Compatible’
Wharf return with their first single of the year ‘Compatible‘. Inspired by an aesthetic 80’s soundscape, the glistening single puts a modernised twist on one of the most nostalgic eras ever.
Wharf told us, “We recorded compatible over 4 days and there was so much excitement about actually being able to see each other let alone play together after the first UK lockdown. Maybe that’s why every morning on the way to the studio we got a McDonald’s breakfast with mout fail!
We love this track and it’s something we’ve been wanting to record since we wrote it. We really feel like this track sums up who we are as a band, and what we’re all about! We’re best mates so to go so long without seeing each other made the recording experience this time that bit more special.”
