South London’s Imperial Daze have constructed a perfect slice of psych-tinged pop.
The track, centered around a pretty dark subject matter is contrastingly upbeat. Focussed on the story of someone who’s stuck in a loop of addiction, depression and self-doubt, the track is fascinating.
Glitchy synths, guitars and vocals that draw you in, rolling together in a wonderful package of psych-y goodness.
Straight from their EP, that’s entirely self-produced titled a login to SMTHNG, ‘Centerpole’ has left us desperate to hear more. If it’s anything like their last EP release Surfaces Sensibles, we’re all in for a mighty fine treat.
