Once you get beyond one of the most bizarre and hilarious band names in music, Steve Buscemi’s Dreamy Eyes have been slowly crafting out a reputation as one of the most promising bands in the Scandinavian indie scene.
Latest single ‘Forever’ is a welcome reminder of the talent that the band possess. Siri Sjöberg, Tilde Hansen, Elias Mahfoud and Edvin Arleskär have been making music under this name since 2015, but have rarely sounded more assured and polished than on the track. From its glittery production, to its ethereal vocals, to its jangly guitars, the track is packed with memorable, colourful indie rock that is surely an indication of great things to come from their forthcoming debut LP Sweetie. Personally, we can wait for it.
