Red Light Acid Test release their powerful debut ‘Lose Myself’

Combining sounds of 60's garage, psych-rock, grunge and post-punk there is a certain intense edge to the track that pricks your attention and grips hold tightly.

We love a good, solid debut and Red Light Acid Test have dropped a beauty here in ‘Lose Myself’.

Making their debut on to the London music scene, the outfit have been gearing up for this release since December 2019 when they headed into the studio with Ian Davenport (Band of Skulls, Slowdive). They went on to record three, high octane tracks and ‘Lose Myself’ is just the first.

Combining sounds of 60’s garage, psych-rock, grunge and post-punk there is a certain intense edge to the track that pricks your attention and grips hold tightly.

Speaking on the track, the band explain that “’Lose Myself’ is about escapism and how desperate so many of us are to be distracted from the stresses of the outside world. Whether through drugs, alcohol, gambling, religion, sport etc… they are all means to the same end.”

We can’t wait to hear the other two tracks, that’s for sure.
