On ‘WHEN MY BREATHING SLOWS’, LA artists Riley Lynch and Ron Geffen have come together to create a hugely explosive and creative new slice of impactful alternative rock.
The track explores the tiring nature of having to try to be perceived as normal or fit in, and the toll that it can take on you as a person. Riley continues to showcase his thoughtful, relatable lyrical flair on the track, more than happy to wear his vulnerabilities and insecurities on his sleeve in order to find common ground with his audience. Ron Geffen produced, mixed and mastered the track, and masterfully found an explosive tone and sense of frantic volatility to match the energy of his collaborator.
When asked about the song, Riley says, “I think we’re all exhausted having to pretend that we’re okay all the time. This song is an ode to being a mess and feeling those bad things in order to grow through it”.
