On their new single ‘Last Chance Addict’, Welsh alt-pop outfit outfit Safari Gold continue to highlight the lush, uptempo nature of their ever-evolving sound and their lasting appeal.

The track, taken from their upcoming second LP The Years Between Dog And Wolf, does a great job of highlighting the measured, yet effortlessly fun nature of their synth-laden sound.  The band have been making music together for in excess of 15 years and this shows through the slick appeal and razor-sharp tightness of the sound, with ‘Last Chance Addict’ just one in a long line of reasons why they seem to be really finding their stride in this current incarnation, and with the album just a few days away, we could be set to hear their name a lot more in the near future.

Lead vocalist’s Morgan and Danny say of the track “The song plays on general morality and the less glamorous side of thrill seeking. An up tempo song for the deeper soul’d out there.”
