British singer-songwriter Saint Raymond is an artist who seems to be constantly evolving and reinventing his unique brand of powerful indie pop, and latest single ‘Solid Gold’ sees the artist continue to usher in a new era in the run in to his second full length release.

The track is packed full of poignant lyrics and memorable hooks, but showcases a maturity and poise that gives it just that little bit more more of an alternative edge. There is a reflective nature to the track as Saint Raymond tries to piece together the fragments of a faltering relationship and seeks out the positives. With release after release, Saint Raymond seems to find more ways to reinvent himself and create tunes that feel both quintessentially his own and impossibly memorable and exciting.

Saint Raymond, real name Callum Burrows, commented: “‘Solid Gold’ is about trying to rekindle the spark and make things work because you know that there is something special in the relationship and it’s worth fighting for. It’s about knowing that all of the good things override the negatives.”
