Scottish alt-pop outfit Liimo are taking a ‘Raincheck’

Following the success of 'All I Do' and 'Thinking About It', 'Raincheck' is a pretty big statement of intent from them and we're 100% here for it.

We love those synths.

Edinburgh’s own Liimo, have released shiny new track ‘Raincheck’ – and what a bop it is!

Bursting into life with a plucky guitar lead, before frontman Kieran O’Brien’s powerful vocals get thrown into the mix, the track progresses into an alt-pop anthem as the chorus demands attention with a massive synth line.

Speaking about the track, Liimo explain that, “‘Raincheck’ is about making more time for the person you really should be making time for. The daily traffic of life throws up so many obstacles that you end up losing out on moments for just the two of you. ‘Raincheck’ says, ‘F**k it, let’s stay in and get a takeaway. We actually wrote this before the Covid-19 outbreak and although it wasn’t exactly planned, it might just turn into an anthem for staying indoors – something we’re all very used to by now!”
