Sheffield’s Crossfire Eagles release uplifting anthemic ‘Episode’

Driven by a strong, melodic and infectious indie rhythm, this has the makings of a big summer anthem from Sheffield's Crossfire Eagles.

A big track with a big meaning.

Driven by a strong, melodic and infectious indie rhythm, this has the makings of a big summer anthem from Sheffield’s Crossfire Eagles.

Despite it’s upbeat surface, ‘Episode’ delves into some quite serious issues lyrically. Having been inspired to write the song after seeing the growing number of homelessness in their hometown, they’ve artistically tried to imagine life in their shoes, dedicating the track to people who have to experience this on the regular.

With nods to indie-rock royalty such as The Courteeners and Catfish and the Bottlemen, Crossfire Eagles are certainly aiming for that direction, with a bit of a heavier edge that you may expect from the Foo Fighters.
