Written in another time, but still so very relatable.
Brighton based, Belgian-American act, Speelburg, has returned with massive new effort, ‘World Is Falling Apart (this version)’.
The dark, youthful track comes straight from his upcoming debut album Porsche, which is set for a September release. Combining electro beats with pop stylings and an emphatic, progressive sound, the track is a big statement from Speelburg.
The track is lyrically centred around the artist’s generation’s youthful narcissism, he explains further that ““despite the seemingly nihilistic conceit, this is actually a pretty hopeful song, at the end the world, I’m still going to choose optimism”.
Written back in 2017, for another artist, the track has been a long time in the making, at a time where our problems were still prominent but a whole world away to today’s pandemic.
