It’s the latest single to be shared from their upcoming debut EP These People.

Channelling audible earmarks by contemporaries Fontaines DC, Black Country New Road, Squid and more, Talk Show return with the formidable ‘Banshee’. The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming debut EP These People.

Deploying a deft post-punk sound and potent energy, the band are set to make their mark in 2020, something that is only solidified by ‘Banshee’. Spurred by a bulky bassline and lucid guitar work, the track intensifies with vocalist and guitarist Harrison Swann’s accusatory retorts.

“At its core, ‘Banshee’ is a frustrated lovelorn tale,” shares Swann of the single. “We didn’t want ‘Banshee’ to feel depressing or hopeless, more heartfelt and ardent.

“I wanted the lyrics and song to progress through a relationship which brings no resolution, nor closure for the protagonist. Focused on melodic guitar lines and the rhythm section supporting the lead vocal, it helped us to create an uplifting track with a melancholic undertone.”

‘Banshee’ is available via Council Records. See the dates below…
