Visiteur prove their talents at melodic synth-pop on ‘Fossils’

Just you wait until you find out the source of inspiration for this track...

It will be the first headline tour for the 21-year-old singer-songwriter.

Sometimes the source of inspiration for a track can surprise you, this is one of those times.

Explaining how ‘Fossils’ came to life, Visiteur explain that “after singer Sir Boyfriend had confronted an old man at a liquor store in Sweden, telling him to “go home and F*** himself”. The old man in question had just said something “equally charming” to a beggar outside the entrance of the store, and Sir Boyfriend was simply quick to apply to concept of Karma.”

In times of political turbulence in Sweden, there are people who fear change and that’s exactly what this track addresses. With nods to Cocteau Twins, the track is a dreamy, synth-y, vocal lead piece of pure pop.
